Pleioblastus viridistriatus 'Chrysophyllus' has golden-chartreuse leaves similar to those of Pleioblastus viridistriatus, but lacking the darker green striping. This beautiful bamboo is a wonderful plant to brighten a shady spot. Like Pleioblastus viridistriatus, the bottom of the leaves are covered with fine hairs, making this bamboo very resistant to the bamboo mite.
