This Moso seedling has a green culm with random yellow pin striping. It seems to be much smaller and slower growing than the species P. edulis. It may have use in the landscape as a decorative bamboo that spreads slowly but has the feathery leaf texture inherent to Moso. Needs a mild climate to thrive, in a partially shaded area.
